Liora L. Alkalay became AJU’s Hebrew Coordinator in 2009 and teaches Hebrew for both the Ziegler School and M.A.Ed. Department.

She originally came to AJU as a lecturer in Hebrew in 1999.  In 2006 Alkalay became the Hebrew Coordinator through the Whizin Center, and eventually the Coordinator for the entire university.

Prior to teaching at AJU, Alkalay taught at Kadima Hebrew Academy, Pressman Academy and the Bureau of Jewish Federation’s Israeli Ulpan.
