The Summer Hebrew Ulpan is an intensive course that stresses the development of all language skills. In seven weeks you can complete two semesters of Hebrew and earn eight college credits.
ULPAN HEBREW PROGRAM
The Ulpan Hebrew Program meets once a week for two hours for ten weeks. Classes are available both day and evening and at every level. Attendees receive 2.5 CEU.
WHIZIN CENTER FOR CONTINUING EDUCATION (WCCE)
Lectures, courses, tours and many other educational offerings are all a part of American Jewish University Whizin Center for Continuing Education (WCCE), which annually draws over 10,000 students to the University for first-rate course work in areas ranging from art and literature to foreign language and history. The school’s fine and cultural arts programming also attracts thousands of Southern Californians who enjoy theater, concerts, art exhibits and other live performance on our beautiful Bel Air campus. WCCE is endowed by Shirley and Arthur Whizin, of blessed memory, whose leadership and dedication to the Jewish community remains invaluable.
GAP YEAR PROGRAMS
American Jewish University College in Israel (AJUCI) is an accredited program that works with both Year Course (a program of Young Judea) and Aardvark Israel to provide qualified gap year participants an opportunity to earn academic credit.
Through AJUCI, qualified Year Course and Aardvark Israel participants can earn nearly a year’s worth of college credit while studying, volunteering, and experiencing Israel.
Acceptance to Year Course or Aardvark Israel does not guarantee admission to American Jewish University. Similarly, admission to American Jewish University does not guarantee acceptance to Year Course or Aardvark Israel.
During their time in Israel, Year Course and Aardvark Israel participants are not eligible for American Jewish University scholarships/grants nor are they eligible for need-based financial aid (state or federal).

Since academic credits transfer easily from AJUCI to AJU, students can still graduate from American Jewish University in 4 years.
All gap year participants who are admitted to American Jewish University are eligible for $7500 in scholarship monies upon starting at AJU.
