The unique balance of a mostly Jewish environment and rigorous nonsectarian academics has proven to be a highly successful combination, as evidenced by a ten-year placement rate into graduate schools that exceeds 90 percent. This success is due largely to AJU’s caring and accessible faculty of distinguished scholars who teach classes of typically 12-15 students and who emphasize interactive seminars more than impersonal lectures. Frequently, a spirited classroom discussion will continue in the hallways or cafeteria.
